We are a private company in the Aerospace industry located in Camarillo, CA. Developing and producing wiring testing system for qualifying the interconnection integrity of aerospace products, military systems.
This is a 100% on-site job. U.S. Citizen only.
Seeking an Experienced Purchasing Agent with the following skills :
Job Duties :
- Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items;
- Submits authorized payments to vendor for purchases.
- Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
- Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items orders; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
- Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives
- Based on available inventory items by verifying stock, deliveries are scheduled accordingly.
- Keeps information accessible by organization (i.e. must maintain purchasing database), sorting and filing documents.
- Obtain Certificates from vendors.
- SAP (ERP) Experience
- Familiar with electronic components
