What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A CDL Driver position at CK Transportation, Inc.?
If you're an experienced CDL-A driver who's had your fill of unpredictable schedules and mystery paychecks, it might be time to try something different-like a job that actually does what it says it will. At CK Transportation, we don't believe in sugarcoating things or throwing glitter on broken promises. We keep it real, and we keep it rolling.
This regional gig keeps your week solid with a five-day schedule that wraps up just in time for a proper weekend reset. We're talking two full days at home every week, not just enough time to do laundry and head back out. Drivers average $1,400 to $1,500 weekly, and the $1,200 minimum guarantee makes sure you're never left wondering if it's all worth it.
You'll be running loads throughout the Northeast region, steering clear of NYC because we like our drivers sane. Our routes range from Maine's coast down to Atlanta and reach out as far as Illinois. The fleet? All late-model Freightliner Cascadias, 2019 or newer. They're spec'd for comfort and set up for long hauls with Sirius XM, refrigerators, inverters, APU, and enough room to bring a friend-or your favorite four-legged passenger.
Orientation won't eat up your week. It's just 2.5 days, and we've got you covered on meals, lodging, travel, and yes, we'll even pay you $500 to show up and get started.
Pay drops every Friday like clockwork, and our benefits aren't just window dressing. Health insurance, vacation and holiday pay, safety bonuses, and toll passes are all part of the package. We're also pet- and rider-friendly because the road can get a little less lonely when you bring a piece of home along.
Applicants need a valid CDL-A, must be at least 21, and should bring solid recent experience to the table. If you're within 75 miles of Boston, MA, and ready for a company that values you as more than just a truck number, we'd love to connect.
CK Transportation is family-owned and operated by people who've walked a few miles in your boots. We're big enough to offer real opportunity and small enough to still pick up the phone when you call.
Salary : $1,400 - $1,500
