Position Overview :
We are seeking a Temporary 2nd Shift Orbital Welding Tacker to join our team, with the opportunity to transition to the 1st shift in April 2025 . This position is responsible for supporting the welding department in producing high-quality tacks and welds in a class 100 cleanroom.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform quality tacks and welds on stainless steel components (302, 304, 308, and 316) based on engineering drawings and sketches.
- Lay out, position, align, and fit components in various positions with precision.
- Apply geometric calculations related to heating tolerances, weld shrinkage, and metal thickness.
- Maintain tolerances of / - .005 and ensure aesthetically pleasing tacks.
- Process work orders and follow Bills of Material (BOM).
- Collaborate effectively with the team while adhering to company policies and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
