Service and Install Project Manager

Summary/Objective
The Service and Install Project Manager position is responsible for being the liaison between Sales and Installation for all assigned projects and to ensure that projects are completed on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

• Organize, manage, and plan complex installation projects.
• Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project and meets with the sales team on an as-needed basis in order to resolve any issues that may occur, communicating openly with the Sales and Design departments.
• Coordinate deliveries, installation, and service appointments with all customer types including contractors, home builders, and retail customers
• Template for countertops after cabinet installation is completed
• Visit sites before, during, and after installation, as needed.
• Work closely with subcontractors and service technicians assigned to jobs.
• Responsible for all products being in place on the day of installation.
• Work with Coordinator in order to manage the daily work flow of the project.
• Meet and discuss any monetary, staffing, or HR issues with the Service and Installation Operations Manager.
• Inventory all tools and trucks, addressing the needs of the staff
• Work with the Service and Installation Operations Manager on handling any service needs within the CKF building.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment, as well as in customer homes, new construction sites and commercial work sites as needed. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Required Education and Experience

• At least one year of cabinet service or installation related experience.
• Ability to communicate well with others
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Preferred Education and Experience

• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
• Experience templating for countertops or willingness to learn how to use templating machine
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
