What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Residential Facility Manager - House Manager (DSP) position at CKFH?
**MUST HAVE MANGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN AN ADULT RESIDENTIAL FACILITY**
Overall responsibilities:
Work in a residential setting assisting individuals served in becoming self-sufficient, self-advocating, self-driven individuals. Manage DSP Staff and Shifts
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Except for relief periods, the Facility Manager is responsible for the home on a 24 hour basis. This includes AM, PM and NOC shifts on ANY day of the week when necessary.
Detailed responsibilities:
- Assist individuals to achieve and exceed their personal goals based on their individual specific plan.
- Provide structure and create positive peer to peer relationships.
- Manage and Schedule all staff shifts and responsibilities including training and onboarding new staff.
- Assist individuals with personal hygiene including bathing, feeding, dressing, etc.- if needed.
- Complete detailed, accurate documentation as assigned. Including all daily notes and charting and reporting for client service representatives including quarterly and annual reporting
- Help maintains & promote a safe and clean environment for the individuals
- Have the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Managing budgets including payroll, groceries, and miscellaneous
- Manages company vehicle and ensures only approved staff are driving at approved times.
- Manages communication, documentation, and scheduling with consultants, doctors, dentists, etc
- Ensures medication is accurately checked in and consults with pharmacy for any changes or errors
**Open schedule availability; Including being on call.**
- Must have good communication with management.
- Must be able to troubleshoot & direct staff when needed.
- Must be able to be accountable for yourself, job duties, home & staff.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent mandatory, Some college preferred
- Minimum 3 years management or supervision experience dealing directly with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with consumers, guardians, staff and other team members.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external team members to positively represent our company.
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Must have ability to cover shifts as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
