Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in service delivery
- Assist local municipalities in identifying and resolving bookkeeping issues
- Lead and manage teams of 2-4 employees, providing guidance and support to help clients improve their bookkeeping practices
- Travel to client sites as needed across GA, NC, and TX
- Provide program accounting support for grant recipients
- Manage financial disbursements with accuracy and compliance
- Assist government agencies in developing internal control policies and procedures
- Support clients in audit preparation and response processes
- Participate in negotiations and proposal development
- Managing multiple client engagements throughout the year
- Professionalism is required while in the office and at a client site
- Effective communication skills
- Preparation of Government Financial Statements
- Education and Experience:
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting
- 5 years of experience
- GASB and GAAP
- CPA - in process
- Hybrid working model following your training period
