CKH is seeking a Senior for their Government accounting department.
We Will Trust You To
- Oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in service delivery.
- Assist local municipalities in identifying and resolving bookkeeping issues.
- Lead and manage teams of 2-4 employees, providing guidance and support to help clients improve their bookkeeping practices.
- Travel to client sites as needed across GA, NC, and TX.
- Provide program accounting support for grant recipients.
- Manage financial disbursements with accuracy and compliance.
- Assist government agencies in developing internal control policies and procedures.
- Support clients in audit preparation and response processes.
- Participate in negotiations and proposal development.
- Managing multiple client engagements throughout the year
- Professionalism is required while in the office and at a client site
- Effective communication skills
- Preparation of Government Financial Statements
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting
- 5 years of experience
- GASB and GAAP
- CPA – in process
