Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues and perform troubleshooting on machinery and control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components and systems.
- Work with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge/experience diagnosing/troubleshooting problems with extrusion molding, blow molding, or injection molding processes and equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical connections and work experience demonstrating functional working knowledge of electrical systems, electrician experience, 480, 420, 120, single phase and 3 phase, ladder logic, schematics, NEC code, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, OSHA, and auxiliary facility equipment and systems
- Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, & electrical problems to repair breakdowns and return equipment to optimal efficiencies
- Working knowledge of PLCs to perform diagnostics & troubleshooting
- Experience with downstream equipment
- Working knowledge to diagnose/troubleshoot facilities equipment systems, such as chillers, compressors, etc.
Will consider experienced Electrical Engineers at a higher rate. Pay will depend on experience and skillset.
