Job overview
As a Concrete Foreman at CL Construction, you will be responsible for assisting the superintendent in overseeing concrete crews and managing concrete construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Superintendent with Overseeing a Concrete Crew, and Concrete Projects
- Understand project scope, change order process and customer communication.
- Ensure project documents are complete.
- Responsible for managing jobsite safety and minimizing risk.
- Monitor construction activity regularly, hold regular status meetings and maintain communication with all sub-teams and company leadership.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of concrete operations experience as a foreman preferred.
- 2-3 years of concrete operations experience, doing hands on work preferred.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, limited material takeoffs, and coordinate projects efficiently.
- Ability envisions overall job perspective and make reasonable decisions using sound judgement.
- Knowledge of foundation, grain bin, metal building, concrete building, and millwright equipment
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
- Thorough understanding of the Agricultural Construction Industry, (Concrete and Millwright preferred)
- Ability to verbally communicate instructions and train others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong technological skills
