What are the responsibilities and job description for the Demolition Laborer position at CL Construction?
CL Construction is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Demolition Laborer to join our demolition division. The primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to operating small heavy equipment to assist in the removal and relocation of debris from our demolition projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with small heavy equipment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate small heavy equipment to move and manage demolition debris.
- Perform general site cleanup and ensure the area remains free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with manual labor tasks including lifting, loading, and material handling.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- · Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience operating small heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, mini excavators, or similar machinery) is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and teamwork skills.
- · Ability to arrive on time and complete scheduled shifts.
