CL&D has a great opportunity for a Plant Manager in Rock Hill, SC.
As a Plant Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across the facility. You will oversee and coordinate all aspects of operational activities, including safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and costs. Your responsibilities will include coaching, developing, and training the operations team, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting capacity expansion targets, and managing cost budgets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating, recommending, and implementing improvements in methods and processes to increase productivity and quality.
- Evaluate, motivate, and develop the operations team, identifying critical skill sets and gaps, and developing training plans.
- Continuously improve customer satisfaction by meeting with customers to understand their needs and sustain the relationship.
- Lead and assist with continuous growth, planning ahead to meet future targets, and making recommendations for capital projects.
- Demonstrate and instill a sense of urgency throughout the organization.
- Collaborate between locations and ensure that best practices are shared.
- Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments, directly supervising the plant staff to achieve production objectives at the lowest cost.
- Establish production schedules to ensure timely delivery of customer products.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and buildings.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum of eight years of previous operations management experience
- Strong track record of continuous improvement
- Demonstrated quick and accurate decision-making skills
- Successful development of a team
- Experience with flexographic printing preferred
