Job Description: Administrative & Purchasing Assistant
Job Status: Full-time
Essential Duties and Functions:
· Provide administrative support to the engineering department as needed (copies, printing hardware, job updates/questions)
· Timesheets and entering time in ADP
· Setting up submittal folders for new jobs
· Creating, revising, and checking door/frame/window schedules
· Adding package numbers to schedules upon job fabrication
· Put together submittals, resubmittals and built documents and send them to appropriate project managers
· Printing and reviewing returned submittal documents
· Printing and distributing hardware templates to the engineering team
· Update job board in department supervisor’s office
· Assist purchasing manager with inventory and ordering
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience Requirements
· 1-2 years office experience
· Microsoft Office
· Adobe Acrobat
Educational Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, grasp.
· Must be able to wear safety glasses and other PPE as appropriate.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office setting and a manufacturing environment where you will be exposed to loud noises, fluctuating temperatures, dust, and fumes.
