Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces through effective lawn care, landscaping, and general groundskeeping activities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy grass growth.
- Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to maintain optimal moisture levels.
- Execute various groundskeeping duties such as raking leaves, clearing debris, and maintaining pathways.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Assist in landscape maintenance projects including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
- Monitor the condition of outdoor facilities and report any issues or repairs needed to management.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through routine cleaning and servicing.
Experience
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, and landscape design is a plus.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to grounds maintenance tasks.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks performed.
- Electrical and plumbing experience preferred
