Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Snack Bar Attendant to join our team for our poolside snack shop. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of snacks and beverages. You will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant experience at our snack bar.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and other food items in accordance with food safety standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, including equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods at the pool.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, grocery store, or similar food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
