Job Details
Description
1. Provide robot maintenance. Ex: Doors need to be rebuilt, install new bearings, rails, shafts.
2. Provide maintenance to the lift tables in robot by replacing bearings and shafts.
3. Replacing the lexan on the robot structures.
4. Lubricate equipment. Take axis covers off, clean and grease.
5. Machine simple parts such as spacers/brackets using manual mills or lathes. If capable with CNC can use.
6. Assist in setting up robots.
7. Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment as needed (fixtures, testers, etc.)
8. Complete projects using SolidWorks
Qualifications
1. Current student in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Machine Tool Technics or Automated Manufacturing Systems Technology program.
2. 3D Modeling experience preferred (SolidWorks preferred)
3. Able to use hand tools, power tools, skill saw, etc. safety and efficiently.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude
5. Able to safely and efficiently use a forklift. Certified Fork lift license preferred. Will Train.
6. Previous experience or exposure to robots/automation.
7. Able to stand extended period of time.
8. Able to lift up to 60 pounds,
9. Ability to work from verbal instructions, sketches, blue print/specifications or general assignment.
10. Able to work effectively with people.
11. Good communication and organizational skills.
12. Ability to accurately use measuring instruments and gauges.
13. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
14. Able to operate machine shop equipment
15. Able to use computers competently. Word, Windows, Excel.
