What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Quality Analyst position at Clackamas County?
Clackamas Water Environment Services (WES) is seeking an experienced Water Quality Analyst to join our highly skilled team of water professionals across all WES treatment facilities and reporting to our Tri-City Water Resource Recovery Facility in Oregon City. This dynamic position is an integral part of WES Operations, fostering a collaborative team dynamic through interdisciplinary work on water quality improvement programs and projects for wastewater treatment systems, and occasionally for stormwater and surface water management.
The Water Quality Analyst plans, develops and recommends programs, procedures, and operational improvements for monitoring, evaluating and managing storm/surface water, and water resource recovery facility discharges through the analysis and reporting of regulatory requirements, laboratory, instrumentation, and all available data. Incumbents act as primary liaison between County staff, consultants, and outside agencies to develop solutions to water resource issues and oversee regulatory compliance programs through the evaluation and administration of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and Water Pollution Control Facilities (WPCF) permitting.

Pay And Benefits
Annual Pay Range: $91,032.83 - $119,841.91
Hourly Pay Range: $43.765783 - $57.616303
Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate's experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position.
