What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager position at Claddagh Resources?
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of up to 30 workers at a precast plant. Must maintain a safe, clean, productive working environment at all times! Trains and instructs workers. Determines work sequence and equipment required to perform assigned tasks. Observes work procedures to ensure safety, and quality. Inspects equipment for wear and completed work for conformance to standards. Performs related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, and general housekeeping for assigned plant
2.Hire, train, evaluate and discharge staff as required
3.Review production schedule and inventory to determine staffing, duty assignments and work schedules.
4.Direct and coordinate production and prepare production reports.
5.Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
6.Enforce all Company regulations and safety procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS, ABILITIES AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
1.Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2.10 years of experience in the supervision of others.
3.Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, techniques for maximizing the manufacture of concrete/precast products.
4.Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work.
5.Excellent understanding of written and verbal instructions.
6.Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with industry standards.
7.Ability to inspect equipment, structures and/or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems.
