About the Role
The Senior Design Estimator Manager will play a key part in developing design and estimation standards, as well as implementing these processes within the company. This individual will act as cross-functional support for design/estimating and data entry processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with teams to support operational requirements
- Direct teams on written practices and processes
- Facilitate and manage meetings to relay information on estimating and design best practices, proficiency/production feedback, and metrics review
- Daily communication with management, keeping them abreast of any issues or concerns
- Identify areas where team members need assistance or improvement, providing feedback, coaching, development training, and encouragement
- Develop quotes considering product lifecycle and diverse production methodologies across various facilities
- Identify process improvements to improve organizational agility and give way to competitive advantage
- Become an expert in Titan and help manage and upgrade the internal database as needed
