Summary
The Legal Intake Specialist will play a critical role in creating memorable client experiences. This important position involves talking with potential clients over the phone, qualifying these clients using set criteria, persuading the qualified leads to come in for an appointment and following up with them every step of the way to ensure their experience with our law firm is first class. They will work with the Claims Attorney/Litigation Attorney to determined the validity of a potential new client’s case. They will also work with case managers to get potential new client’s retained and provide relevant information to process the client’s claim.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones
- Assist with validating the claims of the client
- Organize new client files
- Assist with retaining potential clients
- Address all questions and concerns during the intake process.
- Obtain and process information for attorneys to review
- Follow up with client to provide updates or address any concerns
- Set appointments
- Draft correspondence
Required Education and Experience:
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide and extraordinary service experience
- Strong follow through
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Efficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Appointment scheduling
- High school diploma
- Past experience as an intake specialist
- Past experience in retail or hospitality
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the ability to occasionally move about to access file cabinets and lift files. Must be able to occasionally move and lift office equipment and materials up to 25 pounds. May require bending and reaching in areas from floor level to six feet high. Requires pushing and pulling file cabinet drawers. Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye/hand coordination. Work is performed in an office environment behind a desk where the noise level is usually low.
