We are seeking a proactive and agile Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Project Managers to set clear, achievable project timelines and actively lead development efforts to meet these milestones. Your strategic thinking and bias for action will help refine project scopes, balancing ambitious goals with practical, long-term business value.
We’re seeking a highly experienced professional with a proven ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and rapidly develop impactful solutions within a startup environment. Expertise in software development, cloud infrastructure, and modern development practices, particularly with AWS and microservices architectures, is critical.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to define realistic timelines and deliverables.
- Hands-on involvement in coding and software development to ensure timely project completion.
- Evaluate project scope and provide strategic recommendations balancing innovation with practical business objectives.
- Mentor and guide development team members, enhancing overall team proficiency and cohesion.
- Implement and manage cloud-based solutions primarily using AWS services.
- Contribute actively to architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring scalable and maintainable project outcomes.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software development or related tech industry roles.
- Extensive experience with AWS technologies, including:
- S3
- ECR/ECS
- Route 53
- Cognito
- Parameter Store
- Proficiency with Docker, TypeScript, NextJS, Bun, Jira, and Git.
- Demonstrated experience in software development life-cycle management and agile methodologies.
- Strong ability to logically approach and dissect complex technical problems.
- Strong teamwork orientation and ability to effectively lead and manage multiple developers.
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate technical concepts.
- Willingness to mentor and educate team members, fostering professional growth.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback objectively.
