JOB SUMMARY:
- The Tour Prep Technician is part of the Sound Image outbound team, building outboard
processing racks, prepping and packing work trunks for tours and events driven by daily
demand.
- This includes live testing of the complete control package once prepped prior to packing
for shipping.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the
knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while
exercising appropriate levels of judgment and discretion.
- Familiarity with Sound Image/Clair Gear and tour prep workflow.
- Working knowledge of Live Audio inventory as well as skills to assemble and operate
equipment.
- Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure production at
expected quality and quantity levels.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client driven, demanding environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes
challenging conditions.
- Ability to operate Inventory ERP is a helpful skill.
- Prompt, consistent, and dependable attendance is a requirement for this position.
- Availability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends, when necessary.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma.
- 2 Years' experience preferred.
- All Live Audio skills and certifications are an added bonus and taken into consideration
for this position.
Essential Functions:
- Communication with operations team to keep daily workflow of the tour prep's on
schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:1. Follow and complete the Tour/Event checklist working with assigned OPs team
member.
2. Collaborate with Operations/Supervisors/ Managers on issues, timelines, regarding
Tours/Events you are assigned.
3. Delegate tasks to techs, roadies, and RIT's to help complete your package prep.
4. Keep up to date with work emails and notifications.
