What are the responsibilities and job description for the Touring Liaison (Product Division) position at Clair Global Corporation?
Clair Global Product is growing and looking to add a Touring Liaison to our team! The Touring Liaison is the primary connector between Cohesion and artist focused audio resources such as FOH engineers and Production Managers. Broad responsibility set centers on establishing, maintaining, and facilitating relationships between external resources and the Cohesion organization and providing support, information, and guidance about Cohesion systems and technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.
- Significant experience as a touring FOH engineer
- Direct experience as a touring system engineer is desirable
- High proficiency in acoustic measurement and system optimization is desirable
- Good understanding of signal processing, electroacoustics, and power electronics
- Skilled at providing training and conducting product presentations and demonstrations
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Degree or equivalent in audio engineering or related field
EXPERIENCE:
- The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a touring FOH engineer
- The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a touring system engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Establish, maintain, and facilitate relationships with artist focused audio resources (FOH engineers, Production Managers, etc.)
- Provide support, information, and guidance about Cohesion systems and technologies
- Develop and present product and system demonstration protocols (in consultation with product and application engineering and tour support)
- Develop and present touring specific presentation materials (supported by marketing and in consultation with product and application engineering and tour support)
- Contribute to requirements definition for new product and software development (in consultation with tour support)
- Preset finalization (in collaboration with product and application engineering and tour support)
- Conduct product and system training
- Lead product and system demonstrations
- Design systems for live production integration projects
