Clair Global is seeking a Cabinet Assembler/Technician to join the team! The Cabinet Assembler/Technician is responsible for performing at a high production level in a fast-paced woodshop environment. Collaborate with woodshop team to efficiently and accurately assemble wood speaker cabinets.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.
3 years of cabinet assembly and wood shop experience preferred.
Mastery of common wood shop tools and equipment.
Practical Shop Skills Assessment will be performed during interview process.
Experience with reading and building from assembly prints.
Familiarity with both Imperial and Metric measurement units.
Experience in wood sanding and finishing techniques.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
Strong organizational skills and experience in production work flow.
Possess strong critical thinking skills and work independently.
Ability to work beyond 40 hours per week if required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Duties include all tasks involved with wood machining, preparation and assembling of wood speaker cabinets.
Cabinet Assembly
Table Saw Operation (Bevels, Rabbets & Dadoes)
Compound Miter Saw Operation
Router Table Operation
Hand Router Operation
Fixture & Jig Making
Read CAD prints and perform standard measurement calculations.
Document work and maintain quality control records.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Follow directions and communicate issues effectively.
Work towards continuous improvement and efficiency.
