Job Title: Delivery Lead
Location: Jersey City, NJ

Position Overview:
Must Have: Java, Apache Spark, Python, Snowflake.
AWS expertise, any other cloud platform expertise
Good knowledge of Data management, data governance and data engineering practices
Key Responsibilities:
· Assess and recommend cloud-based solutions to optimize data storage, processing, and analytics.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data governance and cloud solutions, ensuring they meet the business's needs.
· Lead and inspire a global team of data engineering professionals, dedicated to the development and implementation of robust data infrastructure, platforms, and solutions.
· Collaborate with other CDI analytics global leaders, ensuring the delivery of timely data load and jobs tailored to their unique needs.
· Skillfully engage stakeholders spread across various time zones, prioritizing a service-oriented approach and quick response times.
· Supervise a team of skilled data engineers, fostering seamless collaboration with cross-functional project teams.
· Advocate for the enhancement, and adherence to high data quality standards, KPI certification methods, and engineering best practices.
· Approach reporting platforms and analytical processes with innovative thinking, considering the evolving demands of the business.
· Develop scalable resource plans for migrating from AWS to GCP with near real-time events, machine learning pipelines using our customer data platform (Segment), and purpose-built pipelines and DBs to activate systems of intelligence.
· Continuously improve reporting workflows and efficiency, harnessing the power of automation whenever feasible.
· Enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of storage and compute layers of the data lake.
· Dive into intricate technical challenges hands-on, guiding your team toward effective solutions.
· Take ownership of critical business systems, set departmental goals, and contribute to core product strategy through excellence in data and software architecture.
· Mentor, recruit, and nurture a team of high-performing data engineers, fostering their growth and professional development.
· Ensure timely project delivery within budget constraints, upholding a track record of successful implementations.
· Keep all the stakeholders updated about the project status/risks/issues if there are any.
· Build spark data pipelines from existing legacy pipelines.
· Build CI/CD pipelines.
· Take complete responsibility for the project execution.
· Good track record in system architecture and design.
· Hands-on in Python, Scala data engineering application development.
· Experience working in Agile Methodology.
· Ability to learn and help the team learn new technologies quickly.
· Excellent communication and coordination skills.
· Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goals.
· Experience with CI/CD process and tools (GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube).
· Good aptitude, strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, ability to take ownership as appropriate.
Client Account Management:
· Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their unique needs and challenges.
· Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing regular updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
· Develop and execute account plans to identify growth opportunities and expand the portfolio of services provided to clients.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proven experience in data governance and cloud architecture, with a focus on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
· Strong knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal teams.
· Experience in client account management and revenue generation is a significant advantage.
· Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer) is a plus.
· Familiarity with high-security environments like HIPAA, PCI, or similar contexts, highlighting a commitment to data privacy and security.
· Accomplished in managing large-scale data sets, handling Terabytes of data and billions of records effectively.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills, active listening, and a dedication to collaborative success, placing organizational goals above individual notions.
· Proven ability to navigate within a matrixed organization, ensuring efficient cross-functional cooperation.
· Attitude of a hustler with in-depth knowledge of relevant technology.
· Highly articulate and adept at communication, capable of influencing and engaging with peers and senior executives across different regions.
· He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, providing a strong foundational knowledge.
