Description
The Fiscal Specialist V plays a vital role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance within the Department of Community Development. Key responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial billings and reports for local, state, and federal grants, and conducting monthly reconciliations for departmental budgets. This role involves auditing vouchers, resolving funding or contract issues, and supporting annual audits. The specialist collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to address financial discrepancies and ensures adherence to policies and regulations.
