Project Schedule Specialist

This position is responsible for providing support in the generation, maintenance and reporting of project schedules. This role heavily relies on the candidate’s ability to communicate with the different regional teams and collaborate with the scheduling development to implement training, demonstrate and communicate best practices to all regional divisions. Ideal candidates will be willing to travel between regional offices to provide support and training as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-3 years of experience in field as a project scheduler or working within the construction field;
• Proficiency in P6 Primavera, Microsoft Project. ACC Build experience is a plus;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills;
• Detail orientation;
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction disciplines; and
• Valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferred 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, or similar field; and
• A combination of education and experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support to the schedule department in rolling out companywide initiatives through providing onsite training at the various regional offices;
• Provide support to all regional offices as needed to generate project schedules at various phases of the project. (Request for Proposal (RFP) schedule, preconstruction schedule, construction schedule, fragnets, etc.;
• Provide support to all regional offices as needed to track, monitor and mitigate project schedules at various phases of the Project;
• Generate customized reporting, fragnets and other schedule related reports as needed and requested by team and client; and
• Lead and participate in meetings both internally and with clients to provide clear and concise communication.
