What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Prep position at CLAPP'S NURSING HOME?
Clapp's Nursing Home is a family owned 96 bed skilled nursing home. Experience in related Healthcare field or kitchen experience a must.
This position does require employee to work alternating weekends.
We are looking for a 2nd shift food prep worker 10:45am - 7:30 pm. Every other weekend and 1 - 2 days per week.
Knowledge of food preparation with various cooking methods and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, correct food temperatures, labeling/storage & sanitation.
ServSafe Certification- A Plus
Cook & prepare a variety of foods while adhering to guidelines.
Set up & serve tray line, operate ovens, stove, dish machine, robot coupe & other kitchen equipment.
Clean & sanitize work area, equipment, dishes & utensils.
Inspect Kitchen and help in any areas required to make sure the kitchen is left neat & clean.
Other duties & task as assigned.
Maintain excellent customer service & a positive attitude towards residents, co- workers & visitors.
