Position Summary:
Clara Maass Medical Center seeks a talented Perioperative Nurse Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, assessing educational needs, and serving as a resource/coach for fellow educators and healthcare providers.
Main Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff
- Conduct assessments of educational needs and develop learning plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient care and education
Required Qualifications:
- MMSN or MSN in Education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required
- Perioperative experience required
- Experience in education or staff development required
- Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development preferred
- Completion of Clinical experience in NLN accredited school preferred
