What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Interventionist (Home-based) position at Clara Martin Center?
We currently have a Behavioral Interventionist position available in Brookfield, VT to provide support to a kindergarten student in the students' home.
The primary functions are:
- provide and implement Applied Behavior Analysis, support to student in their home with a focus towards helping student to meet their educational goals.
- provide case management, case consultation, attend IEP meetings, treatment team meetings
-modeling of appropriate problem-solving skills, social skills, life skills, and a healthy lifestyle, while providing opportunities to enhance vocational skills and participate in physical education programs.
This position may serve as liaison for school, DCF, and other agencies and may assist in providing de-escalation and behavioral management and support as needed.
The candidate for this position is needed to work 5-days a week in students' home, 6-hour days (5 hours in home and 1 hour of paperwork/ meetings) to equal 30 hours per week.
