What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Interventionists (Thetford and Waits River Schools) position at Clara Martin Center?
***********IMMEDIATE NEED**********
We have two full time positions available to provide support to students in their classroom setting one at Thetford Elementary School and one at Waits River Elementary.
The primary functions are to provide support and related activities (case consultation, attend IEP meetings, treatment team meetings, provide case management) to students in the school setting with a focus towards helping students to meet their educational goals.
Other functions may include:
-modeling of appropriate problem-solving skills, social skills, life skills, and a healthy lifestyle
-providing opportunities to enhance vocational skills and participate in physical education programs.
This position may serve as liaison for schools, DCF, and other agencies and may assist in providing de-escalation and behavioral management and support as needed.
