What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinician position at Clara Martin Center?
We are seeking to hire a full time Master Level Clinician to provide assessment and evaluation services, outpatient psychotherapy, outreach and referral services to adults with mental health and/or substance abuse related issues. Services are provided on an outpatient basis in our Wilder, VT office.
Essential functions include:
· Conducts clinical assessments, formulates diagnosis, and recommendations for treatment.
· Complete all necessary paperwork to open charts, document progress and discharge when appropriate.
· Provides outpatient psychotherapy and/or supportive counseling to adults, groups and family members. Documents clinical services in an electronic medical record.
Education Master's degree and license/certification (preferred) in Psychology and/or related field. Counseling experience with a wide variety of individuals and circumstances preferred. Assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills are essential.
