What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Leader - Child and Family Services position at Clara Martin Center?
The goal of our Child and Family Team Leader is to maintain positive community relationships, provide daily oversight of client care and is responsible for clinical and administrative supervision for a 6-10 person clinical team. The Child & Family program provides a wide variety of therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families, including outpatient, substance use treatment services.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses needs of populations to be served. Makes case assignments. Monitors and evaluates caseloads, care delivery, contract compliance, funding compliance and staffing requirements through supervision and team meetings.
- Provide coordination and clinical oversight for preschoolers ages 0-6 y/o, their families, and the educational and preschool programs addressing this population,
- Overseeing our Transition Age Youth Services for teens and young adults.
- Assists in performing Quality Assurance review of clinical records for program.
- Implements established Agency policies and procedures with the team.
- Recruits and hires staff with Program Director approval. Works positively toward maintaining the motivation and morale of the staff.
- Maintains a clinical caseload.
Services are provided using evidenced based best practices, and include psychosocial intake assessments, individual and/or family counseling, play therapy, group counseling, referrals and care coordination.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field required. Licensure strongly preferred. 3-5 years of experience in community based programming, supervision experience preferred.
