J [OB SUMMARY[Under general supervision, assess, screens, and counsels clients in an intensive outpatient mental health and / or substance abuse program to enhance, meet, or restore a clients functioning capacity. Works with a multi-disciplinary team that provides individual and group psychotherapy and psychoeducation to adult mental health and substance abuse clients. Provides case management and develops client-driven treatment plans. Provides counseling / therapy to clients requiring complex intervention, including those who are homicidal, suicidal, or exhibit life-threatening behaviors, determines necessity for involuntary commitment and may partake in executing orders of involuntary commitment. Complete assessments, manage a case load, complete treatment plans and obtain authorization for services.
