We’re seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and hands-on House Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at one of our Community Residential Alternative (CRA) homes. In this role, you’ll be the cornerstone of a positive home environment—providing leadership to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring individualized, person-centered care, and promoting the health, safety, and well-being of those we serve.
What You’ll Do:
Foster a high-performance team environment through strong leadership and a supportive approach.
Supervise, coach, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals.
Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging home that reflects person-centered values.
Be available 24/7 on-call for urgent matters at the assigned home.
Conduct interviews and hire qualified DSPs to meet staffing needs.
Implement disciplinary actions and performance plans when needed.
Promote meaningful life experiences for individuals, including community outings, hobbies, and social connections.
Oversee medication management, dietary planning, and home cleanliness in compliance with health care instructions.
Ensure documentation, including Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), is complete and timely.
Serve as a liaison with external support systems, families, and healthcare providers.
Coordinate and attend medical appointments and community events with individuals.
Model and coach positive, appropriate social behavior.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Georgia Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Basic computer skills and comfort with documentation systems.
Strong conflict resolution, communication, and leadership skills.
Passion for person-centered, trauma-informed support.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs unassisted and assist individuals with mobility.
Regular movement including standing, walking, reaching, and occasional heavy lifting.
Must be comfortable working in a dynamic home setting with 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a CMA, CNA, or PCT is a plus.
Experience leading a team or managing a residential care environment.
