JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for set-up, mixing drinks, service, and clean-up of the bar area while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and the achievement of company standards and profit maximization.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Set the Scene: Create a welcoming and energetic bar environment.
- Craft Cocktails: Mix and serve a variety of drinks with flair.
- Guest Guru: Ensure every guest leaves with a smile and a great story to tell.
- Clean-Up Crew: Keep the bar area spotless and organized.
- People Person: Build strong relationships with guests and team members.
- Calm Under Pressure: Handle high-tension situations with ease and grace.
ABILITIES:
- Strength & Stamina: Lift trays, dish racks, and glass racks (20-40 lbs) with ease.
- Flexibility: Bend, kneel, and maneuver in tight spaces like a pro.
- Endurance: Stand and move around for the entire shift without breaking a sweat.
- Multitasking Maestro: Juggle multiple tasks and keep everything running smoothly.
- High-Energy: Enjoy a physically active job with lots of standing, walking, lifting, and carrying.
- Communication Champ: Follow instructions and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Detail-Oriented: Stay organized and attentive, even in a bustling, noisy environment.
- Customer Service Star: Handle customer service challenges with tact and understanding.
- Money Manager: Accurately count cash and operate a cash register.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Bartending training and certification, TIPS Certified.
- Minimum of 6 months of bartending experience.
- Ability to operate a blender, computer for cash handling, and credit card approval and imprint machines.
