POSITION SUMMARY: The role functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. Duties and tasks are simple and repetitive – this role will operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area. Team Members must ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills to support site objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Comply with GMP’s, food safety, quality, and production controls.
• Perform activities in compliance with all customer and government regulations (USDA, FDA).
• Expected to work the required hours needed to execute the duties and responsibilities of the Production Worker position.
• Requires the ability to learn established quality and quantity requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• The aptitude to keep attentiveness for cyclical tasks.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• A good understanding of physical condition and safety and basic cleanliness rules.

• Identifies and reports quality concerns.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Able to stand for 8–12-hour shifts.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting materials and product up to 50 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors and non-slip shoes. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
