Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Offer aquatics fitness classes for an active membership
- Supervise and ensure all fitness and Club services, protocols and procedures are followed
- Ensure the cleanliness of the Fitness Center and teaching area including where equipment is housed
- Ensure the smooth operation of all equipment through periodic service checks and reporting and issues promptly
- Responsible for scheduling and organizing the daily business of personal training clients
- Submission and organization of proper paperwork for daily clientele
- Plan and conduct fitness exercise sessions, personal training sessions, group training experiences, and in-service education sessions.
- Provide a high level of guest satisfaction through effective communication
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Assist in the recruitment, development and training of all fitness staff
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines
- Balance operational, administrative and associate needs
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Maintain professional certifications (AEA , YMCA, AFAA, NASM, ACSM ) while continually pursuing a greater degree of knowledge and expertise
- Maintaining current CPR Certification
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Possible Jumping; Bending; Running, as necessary to demonstrate exercise routines.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
