The Clarendale at Bellevue Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused Director of Human Resources. In this role you will provide Human Resources support to the community and Executive Director. This person is a key member of the Community’s management team adhering to policies and procedures and upholding the Community’s mission, philosophy, values and the Company’s vision, principles and Hospitality Promises.

- Using HCM/ORC, works closely with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit personnel and manage the Community job postings.
- Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to screen, interview and communicate with applicants.
- Responsible to ensure that all new hire paperwork and personnel files for all employees are complete.
- Maintains accurate information within HCM for all personnel.
- Assists in the administration of employee benefit programs.
- Reviews, investigates and submits all Workmen’s Compensation incidents to include annual reporting.
- Processes all unemployment compensation claims.
- Completes and maintains all I9 and EVerify documents.
- Serves as resource for supervisory staff, explaining and interpreting personnel procedures and the implications of applicable laws and regulations, assisting, as needed, in the completion of necessary documentation of personnel matters by supervisory staff relating to disciplinary action, termination and evaluation.
- Serves as representative for employees concerning employee grievances, conferring with and counseling employees regarding personnel policies and procedures, benefits, employee relations, and work-related concerns.
- Works closely with the Leave team to ensure all FMLA and ADA requirements are met.
- Supervise the Front Desk (two or more full-time/equivalent receptionists and /or concierges). Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
- Utilize UKG to review all timecards for accuracy and run payroll reports before submitting payroll.
- Plan, prepare and organize New Hire Orientation, All Staff meetings and employee events.Maintain employees’ training records using Relias and in-service records.
- Maintain annual renewals for staff specific certifications, licenses and Department of Health/CMS requirements.
- Implement, promote and maintain all employee incentive programs
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

- Associates degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources Management, HR certification is a plus
- A minimum of two to four years human resources generalist experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal labor regulations
- Knowledge of HCM, ORC, Okta, Relias preferred
- Must be able to navigate Word, Excel, and other software programs at an above average level. Senior Living or Healthcare experience is highly desired
