We are currently seeking an outstanding Quality of Life Specialist / Caregiver to join our team. Our caregivers are the primary employees interacting with our senior residents every day to give them a good experience that promotes their health and well-being. Our caregiving team partners with other departments and leadership to resolve resident questions or concerns and to look for ways to continue improving our residents' experience.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities :
- Support resident health by giving them high-quality assistance with personal care tasks including dressing & laundry, grooming, mobility, bathing, shaving, incontinence care, foot care, checking vital signs, and height and weight checks per policy.
- Assist residents at mealtime by encouraging their dining, assisting them with their food, and partnering with kitchen staff to address resident needs.
- Support resident engagement and mental health by providing activities as planned and / or directed.
- Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly to ensure residents receive appropriate help.
- Communicate with residents and their families in a positive way that inspires confidence and security. Collaborate with leadership to resolve any questions or concerns shared by residents or their loved ones.
- Complete accurate documentation for shift assignments as required, and comply with all applicable regulations and policies impacting the work.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have :
Pay range : $18.00 / hr - $20.00 / hr, depending on experience.
Schedule : Early (7 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 00 p.m.) and late (3 : 00 p.m. - 11 : 00 p.m.) shifts are available.
Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.
