Job Summary:
Clarendon CISD is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dean of Students to support and enhance the educational experience for our students and staff. This leadership position offers the opportunity to work closely with the High School Principal and other school leaders to ensure the effective functioning of our school, with a focus on fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Principal in the overall management of the school, including academic leadership, student discipline, and extracurricular programs.
• Supervise and evaluate teachers and staff to ensure high standards of performance.
• Promote a positive school climate and culture that supports student success.
• Collaborate with teachers to enhance instructional practices and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Oversee student behavior and discipline, ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
• Manage and implement student services, including academic interventions and counseling programs.
• Provide leadership in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities for faculty and staff.
