What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Paraeducator position at Clarendon Elementary School?
We are looking for a caring individual to provide developmental, pre-academic, and behavioral support
services to PreK students, in accordance with all state PreK licensing
regulations for school-based public programs.
A successful candidate will be one who has the following attributes:
Ability to interact effectively, including all written, non-verbal and verbal interactions, with students and co-workers.
Ability to take direction and feedback when provided, and to work independently when needed.
Ability to implement a variety of developmental, pre-academic, and social/emotional/behavioral supports under the supervision/direction of licensed personnel and administration.
Ability to meet professional development and other regulatory certifications needed for working within a Child Development Division Child Care licensed prekindergarten program, as well attend and contribute to district and school based meetings.
Must pass all criminal record checks and ensure completion of fingerprinting requirements.
Ability to help manage a safe, happy and nurturing classroom independently and collaboratively.
Ability to work the daily hours of 9:45-5:15.
Other responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to routine daily duties assigned by the Administration.
