We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Paraprofessional / Registered Behavioral Technician for a rewarding fulltime position serving a schoolbased caseload. This opportunity is available immediately!
Essential Duties :
- Engage in oneonone work with students to effect behavior changes.
- Assess student needs and implement interventions to redirect behavior.
- Execute behavioral programs aimed at fostering positive and appropriate changes.
- Evaluate and manage crisis situations using conflict resolution and crisis management techniques.
- Reinforce positive behaviors and redirect negative behaviors while providing values clarification regarding rules expectations and consequences.
- Adhere to treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeking appropriate consultation when necessary.
- Collaborate with family members and treatment team to deliver effective treatment without disruption to the environment or other individuals.
