Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' well-being and academic success.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address various emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement effective strategies to support students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and 504 meetings.
- Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
- Connect students and families with external resources and community services as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
- Conduct home visits as necessary to engage with families and support students' needs.
- Stay current with best practices in school social work through ongoing professional development and training.
