As a Primary Care Physician (PCP) in our medical clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and compassionate primary healthcare services to patients of all ages. This position involves clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care, with a focus on delivering high-quality and patient-centered medical services.
Responsibilities :
Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis :
Perform thorough medical examinations to assess patients' health conditions.
Utilize diagnostic tools, medical history, and patient interviews for accurate diagnoses.
Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
Treatment and Preventive Care :
Provide medical care and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses.
Offer preventive care, including vaccinations, screenings, and health education.
Collaborate with patients to develop personalized wellness plans.
Chronic Disease Management :
Manage and monitor patients with chronic medical conditions.
Develop care plans for long-term health maintenance.
Educate patients on self-management and lifestyle modifications.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team :
Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
Provide guidance and supervision to medical staff as needed.
Medical Record Documentation :
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
Record patient information, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care plans.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.
Patient Education :
Educate patients on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
Foster open communication and address patients' questions and concerns.
Promote health literacy and empower patients to make informed decisions.
Emergency Response :
Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic setting.
Coordinate with emergency services for patient transfers when necessary.
Implement emergency protocols and ensure staff readiness.
Qualifications :
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
State medical license and DEA registration.
Proven experience as a Primary Care Physician.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
