What are the responsibilities and job description for the MedSurg RN - Full Time Nights position at Clarinda Regional Health Center?
CRHC is looking for a full time (36 hours/week) Med/Surg RN to join our healthcare team. This position is needed on night shift, 7pm-7am, with every 3rd weekend rotation.
($10,000 Sign on Bonus)
Primary Function:
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Medical and Surgical area and in the ER as needed. Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care during the patient stay. Performs general nursing duties with minimal supervision and is able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting. Assists and directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care while maintaining professional nursing standards. Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE through the implementation of policies, protocols and practice guidelines; participating in rigorous performance improvement monitoring and staff education.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from an approved school/college of nursing
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred

Pay: $32.00 - $41.40 per hour
