Compensation : $18.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities :
Help equipment operator, excavation manager, and other skilled labor when necessary.
Prepares necessary supplies, tools and other equipment for transport to worksite.
Load or unload construction materials
Operates small hand tools and provides other construction type labor in projects.
Set up and take down ladders, barriers, and other temporary structure.
Maintaining a clean job site - pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
Proficient with use of pipe / grade laser
Use hand tools (rakes, shovels, broom) as needed.
Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to complete required physical labor for entire shift.
Must maintain a healthy physique able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., hold a minimum of 30 lbs. overhead for an extended period, squat / sit in small space for extended period, and aid in other overall physical job requirements.
Must be able to understand and adhere to the safety requirements of this position.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Proficient with small tools.
Ability to be on time at yard (6 am) every day.
Ability to work on roofs & lifts.
