Night Auditor

Job Summary
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, performing nightly audits, and providing exceptional customer service to guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and that guests have a pleasant experience during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs for guests.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette.
• Assist with guest relations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
• Collaborate with hotel management to implement policies and procedures that enhance guest satisfaction.
• Prepare reports detailing occupancy rates, revenue, and other relevant metrics for management review.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Proficiency in phone systems and effective phone etiquette.
• Experience in hotel or hospitality management preferred.
• Familiarity with front desk operations and guest services.
• Knowledge of night audit processes is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $8.50 - $9.00 per hour
