We at the Clarion Inn & Suites in Aiken, SC are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant (Housekeeper) to join our team. As a Room Attendant (Housekeeper), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. Your commitment to providing exceptional service will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms and living areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and common areas.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Interact and communicate with guests and team members professionally.
Skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping, industrial cleaning, or custodial work is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards within the hotel industry.
- Ability to learn about and adhere to Choice Hotels/Clarion brand room standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering clean and comfortable rooms to our guests!
