As a Maintenance Technician at Comfort Inn by Choice Hotels, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for our guests, contributing directly to their overall experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel facilities are in optimal condition.
- Troubleshoot and repair various systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance requests and managing work orders efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of the property to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management is preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Basic customer service skills to address guest inquiries or concerns.
