What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Tech position at Clarion Inn?
Job Summary:
Our collective goal is to ensure guest satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the Hotel until they check-out.
This position consists of maintaining the property, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, maintaining the pool, and other related maintenance activities. Perform routine and general maintenance on all guest rooms and public areas throughout the hotel. A minimum of one year building maintenance experience in a hotel preferred. This position requires excellent attention to detail.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
1. Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum Experience required:
- 1 year in a related field
3. Skills Required:
- Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
- Maintain a record of any updates/repairs
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
- Work on the interior and the exterior of the property to ensure proper maintenance
- Painting, wall repair, and general property maintenance and upkeep
- Perform repairs on heating, cooling, and plumbing
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest needs
- Perform painting tasks including patching drywall, caulking, cosmetic touch-ups
- Deliver and/or remove furnishings from rooms as needed
- Routinely participate in preventative maintenance programs
- Complete daily assigned responsibilities and provide guests with excellent customer service
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: From $17.00-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
